Consider: I think it would be great to add a page for each season and display it near the top of the page, before the most recent episodes. We could have a small database or section with 5 ‘seasons’. The first could be the preseason/inception of Optimism Fractal at Eden Fractal events and the things in the Growing Optimism with Eden Fractal playlist and the roots article. Actually i think this should be linked in a different place- not as a season. It’s not the optimism fractal community at that point yet so it deserves to be somewhere else, like in text on top or in another page with shows outside of the seasons. I tried doing something similar at the bottom of the page, but am waiting for response from Cam regarding CSS improvements to make something like this work. The 4 seasons so far would each of their own thumbnail. We could pick a thumbnail to use from the prior seasons and add the text about season 1 and season 2 to them. Then people could click on the season button, and they’d see the 12 episodes of the season. And this would do a lot to help increase visibility and accessibility of the older episodes, so people don’t need to scroll down really far to find them. This would be very simple to do with database filtering once we get the CSS improvements, or could do it really simply but just copy pasting as well if that seems like a better way to display it. Each page could also include a brief introduction with any key links or more detailed retrospectives. It could also make sense to do this in coordination with other tasks we’ve considered, like creating promotional threads for older seasons, minting collectible NFTs for each episode, and perhaps some monetization strategies like HyperSubs. Perhaps there could be a link to mint or built in way to mint the episodes on the Optimism Fractal site as well. It’s not quite time to do that yet- first we need to focus on app development and other foundational elements like agreements. It might make sense to write something about this into the agreement as well that makes it clear NFTs could be sold by Eden Creators for this, or something like that.
