About this project

This project aims to curate mission opportunities in Optimism Season 6. Missions are specific projects aimed at achieving the Collective’s goals, known as Intents. There are many opportunities for Optimism Fractal community and other optimists to earn funding and create a positive impact on society by pursuing Optimism Missions.

Key Dates

Key dates include the seasonal kickoff on and Mission Request deadline on June 27th, Grant applications opening on July 18th, and the end of the season on December 11th. Follow the public governance calendar for all key dates and explore below for more detailed information.

Opportunities

There are a three types of opportunities involved with Mission Requests in the Optimism Collective:

Propose a Mission Request: Create a mission for applicants to complete. This specific goal should benefit Optimism and enable applicants to earn funding from the Collective.
Complete a Mission: Select a mission created by someone else, apply for it, and complete it to receive funding from the Collective.
Join the Grants Council: Apply to become a councilor who reviews mission applications and decides which applicants to fund.

Optimism Missions Requests are reviewed by the Token House and Missions are accepted by the Grants Council. Learn more in the tasks below.
