Hello, hello, good morning! So, now I wanted to give a little audio note about a blog post I want to put out for Optimism Fractal. Or, yeah, a blog post or a page of some sort, and I think it's something we should discuss at today's meeting, so... Anyway, I'm just going to jump right into it. So, the post is about funding opportunities and how options and practices can help with that and play a role with that. There are two different ways, but did you know that options and practices can help you you earn funding, retro-funding, something like that. And there are two different ways that Optus Infractal can help you earn retro-funding. If you're not familiar with retro-funding, it was announced last week by the Collective, and it's, as far as I know, the biggest public goods funding mechanism in the world. And it's very aligned with Optus Infractal, so I recommend checking it out. many people building businesses around it, many people building great public goods around it and getting well funded and well compensated and being able to focus on growing optimism and building teams and building businesses and so forth to achieve great goals. That's kind of instruction I suppose. And then there's two ways basically that Optimum There's two ways basically that Optimism Practical can help you earn retro funding. One way is that Optimism Practical can help you earn retro funding for whatever project that you have that creates a positive impact for the Optimism Collective. The second way is that you can earn retrofunding by contributing to OptimismBractal. Now there will be a couple of header sections probably that explain both of these in more detail, and explain the difference and go into more detail about exactly how you can earn retrofunding in these ways. So first, I don't know of the best order, but you're probably first, Optus Impracto can help you earn retro funding for your project. That's generally related to contributing to optimism and creating positive impact optimism. So there are several different ways that Optus Impracto can help you earn retro funding for your project or your work in the Optus Incorrective. These ways include promotion of your work, impact evaluation, networking and collaboration, user engagement or community engagement, user and community engagement, community and user engagement. So those are kind of like the four points there. Promotion, impact evaluation, networking collaboration, and community and user engagement. So each one of those I'll go into more detail about. The promotion, there are several different ways that Optus and Proctor can help raise awareness for the work that you're doing in the Optus and Collective and get the attention of badge holders and help badge holders understand the positive impact that you're creating. There's a lot of projects applying for retro funding And there is only so many badge holders and it could be especially difficult, especially for newer projects, to get well known. And it's important for all projects to have their impact understood, to get fairly rewarded, especially when there are so many projects out there vying for attention, not a relatively small amount of bed-holders. So by joining Optimal and Practical Events, because everyone is recorded and shared and produced, and everybody gets a chance to promote their work, this be a way to promote your work. Badge holders can watch, badge holders are open to join, and so forth. Also delegates join, too. Delegates with significant stakes have joined before, and can help fund admissions as well as retro funding. And perhaps that should be another section of the page, too, or maybe just a part of it, how missions are also a large funding source in addition to the retro funding. I could also mention here that all of the breakout rooms are now recorded, or we're working towards getting there, and we're thinking of making a new show called Superchain Builders and Governance Builders. And at some point on this page I could also mention the suggestion for the seasons of be of Optus and Procter as well. Maybe that's another header down below. And then AI summarizing, please remember to make these different headers in different sections so I can organize it easily and have all the options there. So promotion is also, there's also retro pitches, which are pitch sessions, a pitch game that's specifically designed to promote retro funding projects, projects for retro funding. So that's also a great opportunity to promote your work too and raise awareness for it. And of course you could also cut clips because each presentation or each video you can do it every week and enjoy what you're doing and share consistent updates with badge holders rather than just like a once every three months thing, you could share a consistent update every week, which is valuable. And then you can benefit from our promotional services that we're promoting the videos and you could also cut the videos. And over time, we aim to produce the videos, like offer production as a service to produce your video clips for you. 'Cause you're already giving the presentation of your weekly updates. Consider also if there should be a, and maybe add this to another header as well. Maybe there should be a header for future improvements, or maybe just for each section there can also be a current value proposition and a future value proposition, because all these things they work well to an extent now, and they work great to an extent now, but they could also work much better in the future as it grows too. And retro pitches and all these things are also gamified too, so perhaps that leads into the The next value proposition, a way that you can, how Optus and Practical can help you earn retro funding for your project is impact evaluation. So people can use the respect as a way to evaluate impact and therefore reward projects with retro funding. It makes it very simple. Bed-holders don't have a lot of time, but seeing simple metrics from a legitimate and peer-reviewed and democratic kind of process to review the work that has a lot of value to evaluate the impact in a quick way, that's a very helpful metric. So you could put the amount of respect that you earn, that you or your team members have earned in your project, from your peers at Optimum Fractal, and then badge holders could look at this on your application to understand some of your impact. Similarly, for the retro pitches, retro pitches also intend to enable voting with respect projects, so this can also help with the impact evaluation process. There's also the respect trees, which will further enhance disability in the future. And I can link the article for these as well. Thirdly, networking collaboration. So networking collaboration can just help you be more effective basically in creating public goods and creating impact. Perhaps there's some ways that it can directly help you earn funding and that you can collaborate and network with badge holders who join the events or people who know badge holders who join the events, like all that stuff could for sure help. And then there's also the possibility that you can meet team members or meet builders who can help you build things and build things more effectively. Lots of times in my experience and any other experiences, you learn really great things, really helpful things, and you can save so much time by working together in like a one plus one equals three kind of manner. Having a community that you can ask questions of, both in the breakout rooms and then afterwards in the planning sessions and then afterwards throughout the week, You can meet up with whoever you meet there, message, and ask questions. You can benefit from a huge breadth of knowledge and people who can help you out with different things and help you out with parts of your project and so forth. Either full-time collaborators or team members you can meet that's happened before at these events, which is a great success. Or also just people who you learn a little bit from. Or maybe you collaborate with a little project that helps propel both your projects forward. So, collaborating and networking. And fourthly, community engagement and user engagement. It's kind of similar to networking collaboration, but I think it might be worthy of a different category. Or maybe both, a lot of stuff I just said kind of applies there too, but people who use your application or use your services, for example, you can get feedback from them directly by speaking to them and you can do so in this kind of randomized manner where you get to meet people each week. Yeah, and community engagement is kind of similar to networking and collaboration. You can meet people who can help promote your work and you can meet your fans and you can meet your followers and you can basically get involved in all these different ways that can help you earn funding from retro-- earn retro funding by joining Hopkins and Proctor. Also, it's an education resource, too, so even if you didn't join, you get to watch the videos and still learn as well. And that can help you understand better, like, get a high-level overview of six different projects in 40 minutes, as well as have a discussion about it. That's a great way to learn about a lot of different projects. Learn about EAS, ENS, different people's works, different people's projects and so forth. And follow them each week as they join and get updates in a short format. So maybe there's another option for education there. Maybe the educational part can be bundled in with the user and community engagement. Okay, so that's basically a high-level overview of it, and like I said, there's some immediate use cases and benefits that Optus Procto is already providing quite a lot, and then there's also much more to come soon. So let's move on to the next section now. The next section is about how you can earn retro funding by contributing to Optus Procto. And this one is also very exciting. This one is as opposed to, or it can certainly be an addition to working on your own project or working on some other team's project in the Optin and Collective and earning retrofunding for that and Optin and Fractal helping you earn funding for that other project. This is about specifically contributing to Optin and Fractal. And there are many ways you can do this. So let's talk about it. Let's have a little walkthrough and an overview about how you can earn retro-funding by contributing to Optimum and Fractal. So as I mentioned before, the goals are highly aligned between Optimum and Collective and Optimum and Fractal. And Optimum and Collective has a lot of funding available to recover goods that are beneficial for Optimum and Collective. Optimum fractal has a huge amount of potential. It's already creating an immense amount of public goods, the optimum collective, but it has a huge, enormous potential to create so much more public goods and solve many of the issues and problems that the optimum collective is trying to solve, that the world is trying to solve, create public goods at a scale that dwarfs the creation of public goods so far, to our society in many ways in collaboration and community building and building better culture and connecting people and building relationships, in incentivizing and evaluating public goods projects of all kinds, in coordinating collective decision making and improving these and cause governance, and building better developer tooling for developers to build better, and empowering artists, empowering creators, helping people enjoy the benefits of being on chain, all these things and much more. The is well positioned with extremely helpful innovations that have been adopted on a small scale, but there's a huge opportunity and a huge design space and much help needed in order to bring it to next level. We have a vision to implement these practical processes and consensus schemes throughout society and throughout the office of the collective, and right now the community is relatively small. And there's a huge amount of things to do. And the more you can help do these things and actualize these benefits, then the more impact that you can create for the autism collective. Autism And the practical has the potential to help billions of people enjoy the benefits of optimism in immense ways, many ways, like very, very whole ways. Being said, right now there's a small team that is kind of like leading up to the practical in a sense, with optimistic. And this team has limited amount of people and resources, and we need many more people to grow it to the potential that we can. And we greatly appreciate everyone joining meetings and the events and people helping throughout the week. And in the past month or so, there's been a lot of interest in helping with various aspects of Optimum Fractal in developing different parts of Optimum Fractal and we greatly appreciate that. And throughout the whole time there's been an immense amount of help by people inviting people to Optimum Fractal and telling their friends about it and explaining and introducing it to their communities, sharing our messages and retweeting all that stuff and we greatly appreciate it. There's also so much more that we can do together too and the more that we can contribute the better and the better for everybody and also whoever contributes and creates an impact with their contributions is eligible to earn retro funding by contributing to Optus and Procterol. So ways that you can contribute and which black create a contribute page that we're working on for how you can contribute to autism fractal. Some of these are in the projects, or a lot of these are in the projects in Notion. We have projects that are now organized with technical development and we have a developer hub where you can find many technical projects of all different kinds filtered by front-end development development, or integration, or EDM development, all sorts of different things like that. There's something for everybody really. There's marketing and promotional work, there's a lot that needs to be done, there's messaging, there's community building, there's ideation, there's organization, there's administrative stuff, there's community engagement. So there's all these different that people can help in projects and tasks that are like, predefined that people can start doing there. So that's one big thing. And also, I should mention, that's also a work in progress, too. So we've been working on that a lot for the past few months now. But it's not exhaustive. There's lots of other things you can do as well that aren't on that list. And we're adding to it all the time. So if you just have an idea about how to help, then the Optus Impracto community, if you just go ahead and do it basically, then Optus Impracto impact evaluation works in a similar way to retro funding, where you could just do something and then when you go to an event and present your contributions, then your peers will review it and you'll get a high, you'll earn a lot of respect when you do something that people see as valuable helpful. And of course, that respect that you earn, like we discussed previously, could be used as a way to value the impact that you created for Optimum Practical and Optimum Collective as a whole. So I suppose to like kind of organize these thoughts, there's multiple different ways that you can contribute to Optimum Practical and earn retrofunding as as a result of the impact that your contributions make. So, I suppose one, I don't know what the best word is, but one is just do whatever you want. Because just anything you can imagine that creates an impact, go ahead and do it. And then if you're right and people like it, then people know it. And so you don't have to follow any rules. You can just kind of just be your own, Just follow your own vision and follow your own inspiration and instincts, whatever you're inspired to do that you think will help, just go ahead and do it. And there's a huge amount of things that can help Optimum Procter and help the Optimum Collective that you can do. Another is that you can go into the project section on the Notion page in the task section and you can filter it to find out what projects or tasks are most interesting to you. and you can say you can do one of those projects or do multiple of them or ask about them. You can ask us if you have any questions at the meetings or reach out in Discord anytime and happy to help guide you through the process of contributing and help answer any questions and help however we can. And there's a huge amount of things that you can get started there. If you don't know how to help yet, I mean, one, you can just join the meetings and then see what seems to be needed and just enjoy yourself and so forth. And there's no rush to start contributing right away. You can always take your time and scope it out, of course. But if you want some guidance on things that we need and things that have already been identified that we need, there's a whole bunch of different tasks and projects there that are available and ready to look at and ready to dive into. And we greatly appreciate your help. This is also a work in progress too, so we're working to make it so that we can upvote the priorities with respect, and we can make it more filterable and organize these projects better and so forth. One of the great things, one thing that would be helpful is if other people want to participate in this organizing a notion right now, because right now it's mostly just going to be me who's been organizing it and probably will edit things, but yeah, basically this will get better over time, especially with uploading with respect and stuff like that to prioritize things. But yeah, right now it's at a pretty good state and you can see a whole lot of work that can be done there and feel free to reach out to any questions and over time we can improve the whole workflow. Oh, another thing I should add too is for contributing to, in the prior section about contributing to optimism collective and earning retro funding by how OptusBacta can help with that is the contribute.optimum.il page. Because there's also, I can mention this here, or probably in the section above, that there's a whole bunch of different projects and tasks that people can do that are helpful for the Optimum Collective as a whole, that have been defined by the Optimum Collective in a similar way that we just defined it in the Notion site for Optimum Brackville. So that's another way that people can help as well. Okay, so that's two ways that you can earn retrofunding by contributing to Office of Infractal. And then I think we should also have a general list too, or a general overview of ways that you can earn retrofunding by contributing to Office of Infractal because there's a lot more guidance we can give. It doesn't have to be a specific project. And there could perhaps be goals that we build in. So there's specific projects like things we want to build X. And then there's also just like, yeah, do whatever you want and feel free to ask, but feel free to just use your judgment and be inspired. But there's also another kind of medium point in there, which is like, okay, well, here are some things that we want in general. These aren't specific projects, but these are goals that we have. And so maybe should set these goals, set these intents, but we can at least start by saying here's a list of things that you could do that would be very helpful for office and practice building, likely create a big impact if you are successful in doing these things. So these things include like helping to promote the events, well just joining the events, it's not a sure thing that just joining events will be perceived as like a sufficiently positive contribution by the badge holders. None of this is a sure thing, but it can for sure be something that you present to the badge holders, and the more you do, the more impact you create, the more likely it is that you'll earn retro funding, and earn more retro funding, and there is quite a lot out there. And there's a three rounds this season too, which is also what I mentioned. So, there's three rounds, probably an introduction, not here. So yeah, basically we want to say high level overview ways you can help out from the back door. You could share and help promote the events, invite your friends to the events, that's a huge thing to do. Just joining the events itself is a contribution, even if you're just, you know, you haven't done much that week for optimism but just being there to help in the impact evaluation and contribute to a positive vibe and a welcoming atmosphere and the networking experience. These are all impact that you create the Optum Collective because you're making a, you're improving Optum Collective's weekly event which is a great place for people to learn to optum and meet people. So just your presence is helpful and impact evaluation is helpful. Promoting and marking the event is helpful. Just retweeting could be very helpful or making your own cast or tweet to promote it, very helpful. Sharing with friends, inviting friends, telling them about Often Effect, very helpful, very very helpful. Introducing your community to the respect game, something that should be noted is that we're releasing an app that will be make it very easy for you to play the respect game with your community. So if you have a community organization that wants to implement these fractal processes, then that can be a great way to help out with fractal, basically, by introducing a whole community to these processes, and trying it out, and getting more people to play the game and do it on chain. So that's another one. Also like technical ideas, ideation, bring up ideas with how how does a practical work better. But that's all very helpful. Interpreting with different open source technologies and tools that make it more effective in various ways like integrating with Markkastr or integrating with with the EAS or ENS, the HATS protocol. Some of these are projects, but generally speaking, any sort of technical integration that makes it easier or makes respect more valuable, makes it more fun, or makes the events more fun, all these things are great. So that's kind of an overview of how you can earn retrofunding by contributing to Alpha and Braco. But then, that provides part of it, but then we also need to provide more specific instructions too, because these are the kinds of contributions you can make optima fractal. So this might be another like header three basically. These are the kinds of contributions you can make to optima fractal. But then there's also like how specifically would you do this. So in the first case of, in the first section of how to how optima fractal can help you in retro funding. That's like you're making an application for whatever your project is on retro-blending as is, and you can just use the things that you've done at Optimum Practical as your contributions or your impact metrics. Like you could say, "Oh, I earn 500 respect to show this, and I have these videos, so you can see this as my impact metrics and proof of contributions," and stuff like that. And it can help you with it other ways, but you'd be making your own application for your own project. With Optimum in fractal, second section about earning retroping by contributing to opposite fractal, then you... I started writing this, but basically there's three ways that you can do this. One is that you can apply as yourself, as an individual. Secondly, you can apply as a team, or you with a team, and then thirdly you can join a team or or apply with a team perhaps. So it's like one, you can just put your own name on the application and say here's how I help Alpha Zinfractal, you can also say how you helped Zinfractal otherwise as well if you want, or if you just focus exclusively on Alpha Zinfractal and what you've done for it, and then you can just basically illustrate and explain the impact that you created on Alpha Zinfractal by helping you provide your contributions and you explain, "Oh, I invited 10 friends off of Infractal and so now there's 10 people who work as someone who's joining," or whatever it may be that you contributed, you explain that. And you can put your own name on there and you can do individual applications. Second thing is to start a team. So if you know other people who are interested in contributing off of Infractal or you already have a team, then you can work together. That's basically what the optimistics did. We kind of set the example for there and that worked out well. So you can do a similar thing with a new team and we have a vision where many teams are contributing to optimus impracto. So there's that and we greatly appreciate that and we make it more decentralized too. So individual team and the last one is you can join a team or you can contribute to a team and then work out some sort of deal with them. So right now the only team that's like really focused on Optimism in Practical is Optimistics. And we're open to opportunities for collaboration if somebody has some ideas for collaborating. Generally we want to posture an ecosystem of many individuals and many teams contributing to the ecosystem so it's not too reliant on Optimistics. So we We encourage people to start up their own teams or contribute as individuals too if they think that works well. But at the same time too though, Optimistics are the team that is at the forefront in many ways of Optimistic Practical and we have a lot of promotion and we have a brand name that has some recognition now in the collective and there's lots of ways that our team could grow and lots of ways we can collaborate and so forth. We've thought a lot about ways that optimistic could directly reward people in the community and well for a while I was working on fractal joy and that project is currently on pause and I'm planning to bring it back in the next few months which will be another way where I'll plan to earn funding specifically for optimism collective or autism factor participants and contributors in the near future. And I think that'd be a really helpful way that many more people can earn with the fellowship program and with various different programs that are really exciting. But yeah, we want to be careful about how optimistic plays a role. And so, and there's also things to consider like KYC and differently with that for legal compliance reasons. So, Optimistics can certainly help and collaborate. We're limited to some extent, like I don't know if Optimistics will be a business that has hundreds or thousands of people, maybe it will be at some point, but also there may be some benefits to keeping Optimistics teams relatively small and then having just many different small team individuals contributing. But for sure, we're open to ideas for collaboration. We've earned some funding so we could perhaps fund some things on a relatively small scale. And we also perhaps do some sort of sharing of funds. But this would most likely be on an individual basis. Like just basically we have to figure out if it makes sense on the situation. and then we're working on more just like systematized global systems with FractalJoy in the coming months after that, where everybody can earn directly from FractalJoy, which will be another entity. So I don't know how much I should share about all that in the details. Maybe that should be hidden at toggle or something like that, because it is helpful information, but that's basically it. And then also at the end, so that's basically the overview of how you can earn retrofunding by contributing to Opposite Fractal. And we should say we really appreciate your help and we think this is profoundly helpful for everybody, but we really need to grow it for the benefit of optimism, for the world, and for everyone here. I think there's a great opportunity here. And I'm excited to collaborate with you. And feel free to ask any questions about any of this at our meeting, and we can talk about the planning session. And then also, the last couple sections, one could be in the future, but also that might be touched upon in the past. So we can talk about that this can grow a lot in the future. Like we could say, imagine if the Optimum Collective really started using Optimum Proctyl, and deeply integrated Optimum Proctyl, and there were thousands of people from the Collective joining every week. And then that would also kind of change the ballgame, because right now it's kind of like we're integrating to an extent, but really these things are designed for a large-scale organization or community or collective like the Office and Collective. And so that's one of the things we want to convey to the Collective, that this has the potential to be deeply integrated and greatly improve the process of retrofunding. And there could be very deep integrations where perhaps retrofunding is directly distributed through opposite and fractal and stuff like that. So these are ideas and retro and the opposite fractal, decentralized consensus process and governance process could help coordinate the future and lead the future of the optimal collective and the future too. These are huge benefits and so forth. And then I suppose also that there probably is a good section to talk about it briefly and then also introduce the calendar too and introduce the suggestion of the seasons Optum and Fractal and go along with the retro funding calendar. So first focusing on on-chain builders, secondly focusing on governance, and thirdly focus on dev tooling for this year. So in this way it can align with the seasons and people can align their work with the things that the collective needs the most that it has identified the most. So this is all open for suggestion and open for comments, so you can leave a comment on the Notion page and feel free to reach out with any questions. We really appreciate your feedback and insight and we hope this helps you better understand how you can earn retro funding by joining Optimum Practical and contributing to Optimum Practical. And obviously funding is very helpful, like it's a necessary thing that people need to survive and so forth, so we hope that, and there's a lot of amazing public goods creators in the community, lots of people doing amazing work, lots of people with amazing ideas and amazing things that can change the world and create a positive future for all. And so we hope that this inspires you and helps you in your journey to achieve your goals and create impactful public goods for the authors and collective and the world as a whole and earn funding, earn retro funding by joining and contributing to Oppos and Procter. We appreciate it, thank you very much, and we'll share updates soon, and happy to talk about this in our meetings. Thank you.
