Try doing a batch transcription/summarization of all audio notes in tasks AND first set up ChatGPT API with MacWhisper then compare with Claude to refine this process

There are about 10-20 tasks to transcribe notes in my tasks

As i explained on one of the recent recordings, the process to transcribe then summarize the notes is currently fairly tedious and time consuming

I think there may be a faster way and there is a good opportunity to try this out now instead of trying to transcribe then summarize each one manually

Get API Key Access for ChatGPT and test to see how it compares with manual transcription and summarization via Claude

Claude is much better at summarizing long transcripts than ChatGPT, but perhaps the API version of ChatGPT will have feature parity with Claude and it could be much faster than manually adding each one to Claude

test to see how it works and how it compares with Claude

test the same transcript for each.

use a long transcript- maybe a few different lengths like 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour

test how long it takes to get the summaries on each plafotm

test how accurate are the summaries on each platform

Choose which service works better- ChatGPT API or Claude web app

if the results aren’t fully satisfactory, then create add a due date to review

one feature that is time consuming with claude pro using claude on the browser is that claude can only process so many words at once. for example, when I am asking claude to reformat a long transcript it asks me to write continue several times. does the api have this limitation as well?

or i can just skip the reformatting - the main purpose for this was to make sure that some parts weren’t removed from the conversation but claude seems to be quite thorough so idk if this is needed and it may be cheaper to do it without reformating. As it is i only really look at the summaries
