consider- i think that the page will be more useful when i organize the following into a database then separate the prompts line by line so that i can sync sentences together across multiple prompts without needing to manually update each one

Summarizing

It’s often helpful to summarize long transcripts to make them easier to digest. Here are some prompts to do so.

Comprehensive Summary

💡
Make a comprehensive summary that include the headers along with a summary, key points, and to do's for each section. Provide an introductory section which provides an overview for the entire discussion. Organize it using markdown for headers (H2) for each topic or main point discussed so I can easily export it to notion. At the end of each section, add/summarize any to-do's, tasks, projects, or key points that should be emphasized or remembered. Use H3 headers for further organization where it makes sense, but if there is a repetitive header like ‘Key Points’ or ‘to-do’s’ then make this bolded underlined text so that it doesn’t have too many headers (which can look awkward when creating a table of contents based upon the headers in notion). Use [] to at the beginning of the sentence signify a to-do, so that it makes proper to do’s in notion. It isn’t necessary to include the word summary at the top of each section. If there are multiple speakers, then distinguish the speakers and write their names bolded before they speak to show who is speaking which parts. Also add a line break between each section. The summaries that you provide don’t include enough line spacing, so i usually manually go through the summary and hit enter at the end of many lines to give it more spacing- i’d like for you to add this spacing so that i don’t need to do it manually. Please add 2x blank lines between paragraphs and use 2x dashes (---) as section separators to preserve spacing in most text editors and note-taking apps. Make sure to add a long line between sections ——————————-

More Comprehensive Transcript Reformatting/Summary

💡

Make a comprehensive answer that include the headers each section and thoroughly answers tadas' questions. Make sure to include all relevant details. Don't make it shorter to fit in one response- if you need to make it longer while including all relevant details then I can write continue and you can include all relevant details in multiple messages It should largely be a reformatting of what I said as opposed to a shorter summary or overview, though you can summarize anything that is very repetitive and organize it into a version that is easy to understand. Regarding formatting, Provide an introductory section which provides an overview for the entire discussion. Organize it using markdown for headers (H2) for each topic or main point discussed so I can easily export it to notion. Use H3 headers for further organization where it makes sense, but if there is a repetitive header then make them bolded underlined text so that it doesn’t have too many headers (which can look awkward when creating a table of contents based upon the headers in notion)

Reformatting Notes

Reformat the following notes. Make sure not to remove anything substantial- The total length of the reformatted notes should be basically the same as the original transcript. Keep the ideas in the conversation all intact without removing any points or changing anything other than minor adjustments to improve the flow of the writing. Organize it using markdown for headers (H2) for each topic or main point discussed so I can easily export it to notion. At the end of each section, add/summarize any to-do's, tasks, projects, or key points that should be emphasized or remembered. If there are multiple speakers, then distinguish the speakers and write their names bolded before they speak to show who is speaking which parts. If you’re not positive who the speaker was, then write the names at the top and how certain you are that they are the speaker so i can see it and make sure that i don’t share the transcript with the wrong speaker names Also add a line break between each section. The summaries that you provide don’t include enough line spacing, so i usually manually go through the summary and hit enter at the end of many lines to give it more spacing- i’d like for you to add this spacing so that i don’t need to do it manually. Reformating Long Transcripts

  • It’s often helpful to reformat entire long transcripts when you want to make sure all the content is still there and just want to make it easier to read
💡
Reformat the following transcript. Make sure not to remove anything substantial- The total length of the reformatted transcript should be basically the same as the original transcript. Keep the messages in the conversation all intact without changing anything except for very minor adjustments. Remove Um’s and Uh’s from the transcript. Reformat it and clarify the writing wherever it's obvious that the transcript is incorrect. Organize it using markdown for headers (H2) for each topic or main point discussed so I can easily export it to notion. At the end of each section, add/summarize any to-do's, tasks, projects, or key points that should be emphasized or remembered. • Claude can only do so much in one message, so you’ll need to write continue a few times over the course of the next minutes if it’s a long transcript
