About this project
- This project aims to establish the purpose, strategy, and scope of the Optimism Fractal Education Hub, which will provide introductory resources, personal connections, and educational guides for individuals interested in getting involved with Optimism Fractal and the wider Optimism ecosystem.
- You can see the current purpose of the Optimism Fractal Education Hub towards the bottom of this page. The education hub is in an early state of development and the purpose may change. We appreciate community input to make the development hub as helpful as possible.
- There are two main questions under consideration that will inform that purpose, structure, and strategy of the Optimism Fractal Education Hub:
- How much should the development hub focus on projects and tasks for educators in comparison to educational resources for learners?
- The OptimismFractal.com website should feature the most helpful educational resources for newcomers and well organized next steps for people who are interested in learning more.
- OptimismFractal.com should probably include thorough documentation that is separate from the projects and tasks in the Educational Hub.

- How much should the development hub focus on Optimism Fractal in comparison to the Optimism Collective and Superchain?
- We’re naturally creating, curating, and sharing a lot content about the Optimism Collective while building Optimism Fractal and the Optimism Town Hall. So the process is carrying out naturally already and nothing really needs to be changed, but it’s helpful to consider the following
- There’s a huge amount of educational content needed for Optimism Fractal with relatively few contributors and the Optimism Collective/Superchain already have a lot of resources for creating educational content, so it generally makes sense for the community to focus mostly on education about Optimism Fractal in the near-term
- However if a contributor is interested most in curating educational resources about Optimism Collective and Superchain in the Education Hub, then that is much appreciated and would be a great way to earn Respect at Optimism Fractal
- As Optimism Fractal grows, the education hub can increasingly fulfill needs of the Collective to better organize existing educational content and coordinate the creation of new educational resources.

- Organize existing educational content: It can be difficult to find the right educational content across the Superchain. The Optimism Fractal community can help curate the educational content to make it easier for people to understand. The projects to

Engage in Optimism Collective Season 6 are a couple examples of this.
- Creation new educational resources: There needs to be much more great content and different types of content to bring the world onchain. Optimism Fractal can coordination the creation of many new educational resources, such as the videos on OptimismFractal.com/videos.
- The Optimism Fractal education hub is well positioned to play a leading role in education about the broader Collective and Superchain with our engaging community events, existing educational resources, and ability to use our tools to improve collective coordination
- For example, voting with Respect on educational projects in notion can democratically signal the highest priorities for the Collective and help fairly measure impact to reward educators with RetroFunding. The Optimism Fractal Education Hub aims to serve three primary purposes:
- Provide and curate educational resources to help everyone learn about Optimism Fractal
- Facilitate the collaborative creation of educational resources about Optimism Fractal
- Facilitate the collaborative creation and curation of educational resources about the Optimism Collective and Superchain
You can explore the resources and projects below to learn about Optimism Fractal and the Respect Game. The hub also features educational resources about the Optimism Collective and other related information. There is much work to do to help everyone enjoy the profound benefits that Optimism Fractal can provide and the Educational Hub aims to coordinate a collaborative approach to creating educational resources as effectively as possible.
We greatly appreciate help from anyone who is interested in learning and/or creating these educational resources. Those who contribute to creating educational resources about Optimism Fractal and make a positive impact on Optimism Collective may be eligible to earn RetroFunding. More details coming soon.
