Ok thank you for letting us know, enjoy ETHDam!
Awesome, thank you Hodlon and @bitbeckers! I enjoyed reading the document and really appreciate all your thoughtful insights here šš½Ā šš½
Iāve been working on some similar ideas with @vlad, so I think we should discuss this soon to figure out the best ways to synergize our efforts. For example Vlad is building an app independently of Fractalgram and a feature to automatically distribute Respect at the end of each game.
Overall I think that this PRD complements the work Vlad and I have doing quite nicely since weāve mostly been focused on enabling people to play the Respect Game as easily as possible and this document outlines a more comprehensive app for coordinating the Optimism Fractal community. I think Tadas is mostly focused on how we can best use Respect which also aligns well with the product described here and Iām curious to hear everyoneās thoughts.
There are many interesting ideas that I hadnāt considered here and Iām looking forward to further exploring how these can be integrated into the fractal app(s). Iāll read it again and provide more detailed feedback as soon as possible...
Message Vlad and Tadas about this
Hey @vlad and @tadas, do you mind if i share the Respect Game project and related tasks/pages publicly in the Optimism Fractal notion site?
This project includes screenshots of our conversations about developing the app here in this private chat. Before sharing it I would review it carefully then remove any details about specific clients like Joshua and any other details that arenāt related to the app. Iād like to create a project to āCreate Optimism Fractal App,ā which could help coordinate a community-driven design and development process. The Optimism Fractal app would likely include more advanced features for decision-making than weāre planning to deliver for the first version for other communities and other features that the Optimism Fractal community wants. The app would likely include components of the Fractal App and I imagine it would synergize quite well the Optimysticsā development process.
I think that sharing this project would be helpful as part of our āBazaarā development strategy to help us to build more in public like we discussed last month. It would allow Hodlon, BitBeckers, and other builders to better understand and benefit from our work. Sharing this project would also enable a more collaborative and decentralized approach to product design and development going forward, which can complement the āCathedralā parts of our development strategy wherever we see it. What do you think?
Vlad, do you mind if I share your figma file publicly there too?
Iām curious to hear your thoughts about Hodlon and Bitbeckerās project requirement document. It has a lot of similarities to the app that weāve been developing and some unique ideas that would be good to integrate as well. They would appreciate if you can share feedback on the HackMD article or Optimism Fractal Discord. Iād also be happy to help facilitate a meeting or any other kind of discussion if youād like
Provide Feedback on HackMD
One question: Iām not very familiar with ICP. I love the idea of increasing independence by enabling respect on more networks, but optimism is giving more funding and opportunities
Awesome, thank you Hodlon and @bitbeckers! I enjoyed reading the document and thereās lots of great ideas here that Iām excited to further explore. Iāve been discussing some similar ideas with @vlad and think we should discuss this soon to avoid doing redundant work. For example Vlad is building a UI that is independent of Fractalgram and a feature to automatically distribute Respect after the game ends. There are also many ideas that I hadnāt thought about here and Iāll read it again later this week and provide feedback as soon as I can.
