Hats co-founder Spencer Graham started writing code for a Respect Eligibility Module, which will allow any community to distribute Hats based on amount of Respect participants earn then use the Hats for all kinds of helpful purposes. In addition to setting requirements for membership on the core team, you could also compose Hats Protocol with Respect for exclusive events, awarding respected community members, setting agreements, token-gating chats or any kind of website, give powers and responsibilities to different roles, and much more...
The Respect Eligibility Module will be a very helpful tool for any community that uses Respect and can provide many creative possibilities for any organization. I don't know all the technical details of how it will be implemented yet but two Hats team members indicated that it would be quite simple to finish building this module, so we could potentially get the module up and running within days. I've been organizing a project in the Optimism Fractal notion site to coordinate these integrations and there is also a nice open-source component called Roles and Reputations built with Hats Protocol that you may be interested in implementing as well.
