Nice, I also have some ideas but didn’t have time to organize them either. Sorry for taking a while to respond to this, I needed to take care of some personal matters and got overloaded with work. I’ll try to respond much quicker in the future!
Good question and thank you for the explanation, I didn’t realize that process only retroactively awards completed initiatives. That sounds like a good plan to update the Quest with our progress and submit it next season after we complete the Hats-OPF integration. I haven’t had the chance to look into all the details of the contribution submission process and am curious about how the updates work. Did you update the Quest you created already or do you think there is anything else we should do before the season ends at the end of the day?
A couple week’s ago I started drafting ideas for submitting a contribution for the Hats Community and starting a targeted respect game that could help distribute protoREP in this document. It’s an early draft and I just gave you full access so feel free to edit it if you’d like.
I’m planning to add this document to the project in the Optimism Fractal notion site to Explore and Create Integrations with Hats Protocol. I think this will help facilitate the integration and Quest in the next season of Hats, as well as make it easier for more people to learn about it and get involved.
Thank you for asking and sharing David’s messages here. Perhaps we could use the kind of sub-round functionality that you and bitbeckers wrote about in the IC-Fractal PRD to facilitate this kind of targeted respect game. Spencer tagged me yesterday about a PRD he wrote for Quantitative Value Creation Measurement for Decentralized Work and I’m planning to message David about a similar topic in the telegram chat between Hats and Optimism Fractal. Hopefully we’ll be able to help make it easier for organizations to participate in the Hats Seasons before next season
On a related note, I spoke with Vlad and Tadas about the proposal for IC-Fractal PRD this week. We had an interesting discussion and will follow up with some questions soon. We also agreed that I’ll move our project to develop a fractal app from the internal Optimystics site to the public Optimism Fractal site so you can see what we’ve been working on so far and we’ll be able to better collaborate. I’m looking forward to following up about this and having more time to spend on it as we take a spring break from the events
